Well, I'm sorry to say we're not out of the "woods" yet! I'm new on
this list and am interested in seeing the last discussion on woods.

One of the quirks with rosewood is that it is more apt to crack than
grenadilla.

As far as color, ask Vito P. how his colored clarinets are selling.
