First, greetings to list members from one who just signed on again after
a fun, busy summer.

I recently got a copy of the above quartet, edited by Hymie Voxman for
Musica Rara (1985). It's an arrangement of a sonata by violin and piano
by WAM, but Mr. Voxman writes in the notes that is not known who arranged
it. He suspects Andre, but is uncertain. Does anyone have more recent
or more definitive attribution?

I tried it this summer with some friends at a music camp. A lot of it
is rather virtuosic dialogue between cl and violin. Our cellist greeted
her sixteenth notes in the last movement with cries of relief and
delight. Not sublime music, but a pretty crowd pleaser. There are
two more such quartets.
