I've used Vandorens for many years, with good success. The V12s have really
been an improvement. They are more consistent, both in the box, and from box
to box. Of course, they are really designed for a long vamp mouthpiece, but
seem to work well with most setups. How many from a box? Generally, I can
make all twelve work, to some extent, but really only 1/3 to 1/2 "make the
cut". Not too bad, actually.................................
