I purchased a reed machine, the Reedual, over the summer and
wanted some more information from people who are making their
own reeds.

Where are some good places to get consistent cane? I would like
country information if possible--not necessarily USA stuff.

Although the machine itself seems to be great, I would like to
know the easiest way to get decent blanks? A new book out by
R. V. Vasquez mentions getting a planer and a shaper from
T. McDowell in Skokie, IL for around $125.00. Are their
other machinists out there who sell this stuff for a better
price.
