You may be interested to note that I was at the Buffet factory outside of
Paris about three weeks ago, and when I questioned them about the subject of
oiling the bore, they pointed to a large bottle of salad oil that was sitting
on a workbench and told me that this is what they used!
How often would you recommend oiling and at any particular times of year or
seasons?
