Subj: breaking in a clarinet

In addition to the previous suggestions, starting to break in an old
clarinet that has not been used should be done during the most humid
part of the year. After stripping and very lightly oiling the wood,
keep humidifiers in the case. (Cigar stores sell very useful small
tubes that can be kept in the accessory wells, and do not have the
possible drawbacks of Dampits.)
