I have also searched for a discussion group on the saxophone with no
success.

I think I was able to search all the registered listservs a few months ago,
and the closest I found was a group called "ANSAX." I subscribed, only to
discover that is a group of Anglo-Saxon scholars. They have fascinating
and arcane discussions (like those on Klarinet), but they never seem to get
into the 1850s or later for true saxophone dialogues.

Look forward to learning whether a sax list exists.

(Totally intimidated by the new practice routine for saxophone in the
current issue of Saxophone Journal, but willing to give it a try.)

(As my office neighbor said the other day when she heard Stephen Popper of
this list and me trying some clarient duets, "Don't give up your day jobs!"
