My experience is Super Glue and grenadilla by themselves with no pins rarely
workd for very long. I feal much more comfortable with pins using the Super
Glue and grenadilla to disguise the crack and pin holes especially if the
crack extends through toneholes. If that is the case I cap the toneholes in
addition to pinning.
Also, I do not believe in using blind holes for pins. I worked for one of
the major manufacturers at one time, they used bling holes and I saw many
problems that I beleive are related to pressure from the end of the pin
against the blind end of the hole.
