To Andrea, bass clarinetist extraordinaire....with a title like that
you might be able to help me out. I think the Brahms E-minor cello
sonata should be unbelievably great on the bass clarinet. In fact,
I read in Clarinet magazine that a bass clarinetist in Georgia was
doing it on his spring recital. I wrote to him for details but
never heard back....To my knowledge there is no published edition
for bass clarinet, but being a bit lazy, I thought I'd check around
before going to the trouble of arranging it myself.....are you aware
of any information in this regard. Please respond to:
