It helps to have a mouthpiece which suits the reed, as well as a good
embouchure and it helps to be able to play properly, anyway .... I mean, if
there is an inkling of an imperfectly covered hole, it won't help (e.g.). A
lot of people on the list know more about this than I do, and I'm (glad I'm
not) teaching for a living, though I was desperate enough to contemplate it
once. (This is getting too personal & BORing)
