If you received a message purporting to be from me, saying "list", sorry
about that! Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing. But I shall keep
trying, I'm new at this... I would like to seek some advice of anyone
who cares to respond, about clarinet mouthpieces. I live in a relatively
small town where there is no decent music store and no really knowledgeable
teacher, so I'm hoping some of you might be able to suggest something. I'm
currently playing a Selmer 10G with a Selmer HS** mouthpiece. The intonation
is excellent, but I would like to find a mouthpiece of comparable facing
(medium) offering a darker, fuller sound. There are so many different
brands and facings offered by the mail order houses! Any suggestions?
Thanks, and in the meantime, I'll keep practicing...
