I believe that the Center-Tone Clarinet was a precursor to the Selmer
Series 9 that I had in high school. It had a slightly larger bore than
post-series-9 models, and I played one for a short time when I was
debating on getting a clarinet to join the band here.

(A friend loaned me an old Buffet instead. It's nice, too.)
