I'm not convinced of the value of mine as a musical instrument (although
it's nice as an oddity), but having paid 50 pounds for it, it was
worthwhile as a testbed for a complete stripdown and repad etc. Whilst I
may not be a Clark Fobes, at least I have some idea of how clarinets
should go together, and have been able to do little jobs on several
instruments both for myself and others.
