Yes, I've done the same, and have even reconditioned a grand piano
keyboard with good success, using only stuff available from a hardware
store! However, I've about decided to leave any major clarinet work to
a skilled technician. I'm sure Clark Fobes will be relieved! Thank you
both for your input.
