GENERALLY,

Bore size does effect timbre. A smaller bore tends to increase the
presence of upper over tones. However, a great deal can be changed with
tone hole size and placement, undercutting or "frasing" of tone holes,
bore permutations and bell flare.

Yamaha does make a German system clarinet and has been since at least 1989.
I do not think it is available in this country. The person to contact
