There is an exhaustive (possibly) history of Buffet clarinets in existence
somewhere, but I can't remember the author's name. I do recall that when it was
first published, it was ferociously expensive. (Perhaps Jo Rees-Davies knows
about this?). I would like access to it myself to investigate the antecedents
of my own ageing B flat.
