My only quibble with ordering supplies from Weiner Music is
that they're slow--usually 2 to 3 weeks to get reeds. Once
an order that my beau placed took so long that "Jawnathan"
(they are in New York, after all) ended up sending him a
free Portnoy mouthpiece to make amends. (Don is a frequent
customer, though--I don't think everyone could get such a deal.)

A while ago someone posted the contact information for
Discount Reed Co., in Southern California. What I've heard
about them is that they charge a little more for reeds but
are much faster; I haven't tried ordering from them, though.

Claudia (don't you just *hate* it when you plan poorly and have
to go to a local music store and pay $$$ for a box of
reeds that you could have ordered for only $$?)
