Christopher Zello (en444@-----.edu) asked
about a piece for clarinet and wind ensemble, which
he thought might be "Scherzo" by Phil Cardew. Yes,
there is such a piece (at least I've come across it
for piano and clarinet). Boosey & Hawkes has published
other music by Cardew, so they might be the source
for this piece in whatever versions.

There's a concerto by Alvin Etler for clarinet with
an ensemble of 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, 2 double basses,
and 3 percussion players. It's published by Associated
Music Publishers (AMP). I've not heard this work by
Etler, but other pieces of his I've played have been
fine.
