Another bit of Mozart/M*A*S*H trivia: supposedly the day after the
final episode aired, music stores were flooded with requests for
"that piece of music that was on M*A*S*H last night."

More people probably heard Mozart then, than had ever heard any
Mozart before then, I suspect...

ps. On a clarinet-related note: I recently saw a "Marriage of Figaro"
transcription that uses most of the members of the clarinet family -
A-flat sopranino (cued in E-flat part), E-flat, B-flat, Basset Horn,
Alto, Bass, and [I think] one of the contrabass instruments. What
other pieces do you know that exploit this much of the clarinet
family (that are published and available)?

pps. In fact, where's the best place to look for clarinet choir
pieces? I'm in SF and occasionally find nice things in Byron Hoyt;
I'll be in NYC next month and if I know where to look, will comb
the stores there. Any catalogues out there that you know of?
