From: James Langdell <James.Langdell@-----.COM> Subj: Harrington offers Clarinet/Piano piece Date: Fri, 27 May 1994 03:25:46 -0400
On rec.music.classical, Jeff Harrington offered to send
people, free of charge, copies of some of his compostions.
Among them was a clarinet and piano piece.
I contacted him and a copy is on its way, no strings.
Just mention what piece(s) you're interested in and
provide a mailing address.
Here's the info Jeff posted:
>Hi, I've finally finished my piano trio score and will be more than happy
>to send copies of scores and/or parts to any interested piano trios. The
>piece is melodic, tonal (in a chromatic, bluesy style) and very contrapuntal.
>Rhythms inspired by New Orleans R&B, but with a thoroughly classical
>developmental/thematic structure. Kind of like the Shostakovich Piano
>Trio gets funky... :)
