This is hardly something that needs worrying about. There is no mechanism
by which a distribution list can automatically be preempted by a Usenet
group, so nobody need fear that "they" might corrupt our show. There are,
however, numerous examples of BITNET lists which are fed directly to
Usenet groups -- something which I presume we would welcome, if it were
ever suggested for Klarinet.

Perhaps the list owners would care to comment on the likelihood of their
closing up shop in deference to possible developments on Usenet.
