I'd venture a guess that we could set up something as specific as a
distribution list for single-reed mouthpiece technology and end up hearing
people crab about all the "extraneous" gab on it concering reeds and
ligatures.

I'm not sure how many people on this list know how Usenet works but,
given the zillions of groups that it sustains, I don't understand why
there shouldn't be one group per instrument.
