Both parts are great fun to perform! I've played the Quintet dozens of times
(back when doing quintet time was part of my gig!) and the part in the Flute
Concerto is a blast to play (I did it back years ago in college and it's been
programmed here in Detroit once since I came here in '81).

Great, if not crazy, clarinet writing!
