Kory Vrieze asked about experiences with Pyne mouthpieces. Having studied
with Pyne and measured a dozen Pynes, I can tell you that he builds
resistance into his mouthpieces by using assymetrical facings. If you
measure the mouthpiece, it is likely that one side tapers more than the
other. Generally, a beautiful dark tone, however.
