I agree. Vague, intuitive terms may be used to allow "statements to sound
profound while veing vacuous in content". Vague, intuitive terms may
ALSO be used an a means of communicating complex, subtle ideas
that cannot be communicated in specific, precise terms. And that's what
I think much of the argument is over here in trying to arrive at
answers to whether mouthpiece making is an art, whether clarinets
blow out, etc. We are trying to merge scientific with aesthetic
communication. I love it!
