One factor that you are not taking into consideration is the bore dimensions
and the chamber dimensions.

I am not sure what your field is. Are you an engineer? You may be interested
in obtaining tools for measuring the bores on specific mouthpieces if you
can find enough mouthpieces to make a significant empirical study.

I have developed some not so concrete theories of bore dimension and how
it must relate to the chamber and the overall volume of the mouthpiece.
The configuration is very important to response and tuning ratios.
The taper of the bore will also effect these areas and may influence the
way in which a mouthpiece must be faced.
