Well, since someone asked and I went through the bother of getting the
product literature, thought I might as well share a listing I've made of
the Selmer and Vandoren mouthpieces. I've been trying to work out some
algorithms, rules-of-thumb, graphical techniques for determining what
mouthpiece should go with what clarinet, with what reed hardness, but
suspect that this is more complicated than I realize, and also I'm
sure that people much more experienced and knowledgeable than I, have
dealt with this in some length. However, since I've started on this
project, would appreciate any comments/suggestions for other information
that might be added to this list, as I might as well expand it now that
I've started. Also, would be much interested in observations, references
regarding rules for mouthpiece selection!
