Cathy asks if George Silfies has retired from St. Louis. I played with
George only a few summers ago and he seemed hale, hearty, and not at all
ready to retire.

What a wonderful player he is!! And, remarkably, he can play either part
of the Brahms sonatas. He is a super pianist too.

As I remember we did the Strauss Happy Workshop together and he made the
whole thing hang together.
