Clark Fobes suggests that manufacturers look at making more
lightweight keys. Can anyone speak (knowledgeably!) about
the quality of keys from different manufacturers?

Specifically, I bought an R13 Bb in about 1987, and within a
couple of years the keys I touch frequently had worn down to
a pink color (copper?). This didn't happen on my previous
two clarinets (a used Selmer and my very first Bundy), so
I can't believe the old acid-fingers excuse. Any comments?
