"The way the piano keys are struck greatly affects the way the instrument
sounds" --- JVS. One would not expect a pianist to produce the same kind of
sound overall for Grieg as for Schnittke. How did this all come up, anyway?
It could be added that Mozart, Poulenc and Hindemith require different CLARINET
sounds - don't they????
