Before this really gets out of hand of hand (again), marimbas work pretty
differently from clarinets .... I shouldn't think anyne 's thought of using a
Dalbergia melanoxylon reed. This tree is a close-ish relative of the acacias,
by the way - might there not some commoner related savanna tree that had even
better wood for woodwind?
