In response to Tom Ascher -- I've been doing quite a bit of refacing and
facing of mouthpiece "blanks" over the past couple of years and have noticed
that people will try the same mouthpiece and have radically different reactions
to it. And, yes, it is true that the balance of tip opening and lay length
can produce various interesting results. The problem -- how to save enough
money to buy all those blasted mouthpieces!!
