Benny Goodman's closing theme was "Good Bye" by Gordon Jenkins. This
is confirmed in _Benny Goodman and the Swing Era_ by James Lincoln
Collier. Unfortunately, I can't provide any leads for sheet music
for that beautiful, haunting tune, but there is a nicely updated
version on Eddie Daniels' _Benny Rides Again_ CD (GRP). I would be
interested in any source of a lead sheet, because I'd love to perform
it.

BTW, "Memories of You" was never Goodman's theme (opening, closing, or
incidental), but he made such a great recording of it that many people
think it was.
