I've got a box of tenor sax reeds that actually have a hole reamed in the
reed at that point (doesn't go all the way thru). I forget the brand since
I just got them and have only used them once, but with my horn & mouthpiece
I found them a bit thin sounding.

I used to have some old sax reeds with grooves cut in them. Vibra something?
