Also make sure that it cuts to the same shape as the tip of the
mouthpiece that the reeds will be used on. If you use a few different
mouthpieces you may also have use for a few different reed cutters.

If you have ever rejected a brand of reeds because its tip shape doesn't
match your mouthpiece, it may be worth experimenting with a quick clip to a
more suitable tip shape.
