It is true that they are more consistent, but thay do not have the
body of tone and lasting power needed by advanced students - I have found,
anyway. Thus, I find that I need to wean students off of them and onto
Vandoren. I am hoping that Grand Concert (perhaps even the thicker ones
mentioned earlier) will solve that problem.

It is true that Premiums are much better. I think these will be
overshadowed by the Grand Concert, though.

On another tack, what's the current scoop on Olivari reeds? Last I
heard, the old man had died and they moved ... that was a LONG time ago!
