Subj: Bass clarinet stands

The bass clarinet stand I use is actually an adaptation of a
bassoon stand. My clarinet teacher, Jo Polley, 'customized' it by
attaching a jar lid to where the floor peg would sit. I don't know
what brand it is, but it's an extremely heavy-duty stand. I've even
pulled up the spike on my contra and used the stand for contra when
the stage wouldn't have room for my contra case. My only gripe about
the stand is that it isn't tall enough for my low C bass.
