Like Roger Shilcock, I also have a Yamaha double case (it came with my
Yamaha A). It really is nice to have all that room: it will hold 4 (count
'em, 4) barrels, 2 mouthpieces and has lots of accessory space. At
present it holds a tuner, a metronome, 2 VanDoren reed cases, 2 ligatures
in plastic boxes, cork grease, a somewhat clean swab, reed trimmer,
post-its, pencils and highlighters. It doesn't have a music compartment,
but I dont' think that I'd use one anyway. The cases can be bought
through the big mail-order houses.
