Could someone please let me know a contact for Glotin so I can try out
their reeds? Here in Down Under Land we are a bit restricted in what
reeds we can get over the counter.

I am a fan of the V12 at the moment but, yes, they are very
inconsistent.

By the way:

There is a new Austrlian brand out at the moment called ... ummm ...
I've forgotten ... Vintage or somesuch. Some peope rave about them but
I suspect it's just patriotism. I tried a few and thought they were
attrocious. They are surprisingly aimed at the professional market and
are supposed to be hand finished.

And thanks for all the information on tuners. I went out and bought a
Korg DT-3 yesterday and I'm very happy with it. I was considering the
AT-12 or DTM-12 but they cost about $A500 (~$US360) here - somewhat
over my budget. The DT-3 has a very nice Hz scale option which changes
the full scale deflection from +/- 50 cents to +/- 5 Hz which is
generally a much finer scale.
