As someone who would be vigorously opposed to the COMMERCIALIZATION
of our discussion group, I find that I am completely unopposed to
the posting of private messages offering items of interest for sale.

We share an interest and may be doing another participant a real service
by offering items for private sale.

Count my vote a favoring private listing, but opposed to commerical
advertising.
