Last night's KLARINET get together was fun. Lots of
good talk about clarinet playing and life. I hope more
people can come when we do this again--perhaps at a place
we can get out our horns and blow. How about a picnic?

I have a big box of clarinet ensemble music that should
provide repertoire for however many Bay Area participants
manage to show up.

By the way, I called the Clarinet Cafe in Berkeley and
found they are only open until 7:00. They're at
1908 Shattuck Ave, a few blocks north of University
(510-644-1070). A photo of this place and its decor
(featuring pieces of deceased clarinets) apeared in
"The Clarinet" magazine a few years ago.
