A friend of mine is doing a modern piece on a Selmer extended Bass
Clarinet (pitched in C).

The piece calls for the creation of "4 zones of multiple harmonics"
(chords, tone clusters?) while fingering a low C.

He has done some experimenting however he is unsure of what is asked to be
done. Is this to be accomplished by fingerings? embouchure? air stream?

Any help would be appreciated and past on to the non-internet user.
