I have been using a Rovner ligature. I really like it. However, I don't
really think that the ligature that you use really affects your sound all
that much.

I just like it because it holds the reed on better than the
other ligatures that I have tried. It also dosn't mark the reed up.
I have had some metal ligatures leave marks in the reeds, they also
didn't hold the entire reed on. Perhaps because the didn't bend as
well, maybe????
I have also tried some plastic ligatures and I havr found that
they tend to slide around and not hold the reed as well.

Oops- I found a typo above- it should have read"Perhaps because
the _metal_ didn't bend as well"
