I bought 3 boxes of Australian cane reeds-- Vintage type- in various
strengths. The cane is very nice, and tastes good. They are very hard,
and the 4's (I usually use #4 V12 VanDorens) were immensely hard. My
own problem with the reeds was the cut, which seemed to lack the central
ridge, and therefore prevented me from finding a reed with the "heart of
fire". The company spokesperson is very nice.
