I am presently working on the K361 serenade and have come across some
anomalous markings with regard to the figure opening the 1st mvmt:allegro
molto.

The figure is marked

C2 half slur, E3 half, E3 - 16th apog., D2 qu, C2 qu
(please excuse my notation method)

Later a similar figure:

B3 16th apog., A3 qu, A3 half, A3qu (%)

appears, in recordings the first figure is played where the 16th is a
grace note, later it is played as written (eighth, eighth). Being the
unscholarly fellow that I am I wonder if there is a reason for this, or
whether it is purely a matter of taste.

Enlightenment would be greatly appreciated (final rehersal before
performance on friday).
