Has anyone had any experience with reeds of another nation (where France
is considered the "only" source of good cane). I saw an add in The
Clarinet where to Australians were spouting the gospel about their
country's cane.

I use Vandoren V12's - 4.0, and have been less than satisfied with the
quality (considering the $15.00 box price).
