My vote is for the black cloth like thing with the single screw-- I recently
switched to the Rovner from the Bonade at the insistence of my teacher and
it made a gigantic difference in my tone after a few hours of play and
increased the ff dynamic output of my mouthpiece and horn enormously.
The rubber pad ligatures seem interesting looking, but the price tag has
deterred me from trying them.
