Dear Alan:
I don't think this problem is confined to LaVoz reeds, though I've had this
happen. Leave them to dry out; they dry out warped, of course, but if you
create a mouthpiece vacuum by suction enough times, they revive. Bass reeds
respond much better to this than sop. clarinet reeds, and if you end up with a
good specimen, they seem to last longer.
(Somebody may well now shoot all this down ....)
