The Goals 2000 bill, which has very strong Arts and Music
addendums, passed the House this morning. However, it faces a filibuster
in the Senate.

Please take one minute out of your busy schedules and call
(202)224-3121, ask for your senator's office, and tell this to the phone
answerer:

"I would like to encourage the senator to vote for cloture and
Goals 2000"

Cloture is a term that means breaking down a filibuster.

This call needs to be made by lunch Friday, Washington Time.
