One minor point - the AT1 is significantly less expensive than the AT12 and
can be purchased mail-order for less than $80. I had the DT1 for a number
of years, and loved its compact size (about the same as a cassette) as it
fit easily in my case.

But . . . why all the concern over tuners? As we all know, clarinets come
perfectly tuned from the factory!
